These melt-in-your-mouth classic cookies are easy to make and absolutely delectable!

Preheat the oven to 275 degrees F / 135 degrees C.

Ingredients:

1 cup / 250 ml butter

½ cup / 125 ml powdered sugar

1 ½ cup / 188 gr all-purpose flour

In a large mixing bowl, add softened butter and beat with an electric hand mixer until creamy. Add powdered sugar and beat until very creamy.

Add flour and whip for 6 minutes.

Chill dough for 20 minutes.

Use a cookie press, piping bag or roll into flattened tablespoons (15 ml) on a parchment lined baking sheet 2 inches / 5 cm apart.

Bake slowly for 30 – 35 minutes being careful not to let the cookie brown. Add sprinkles right away if desired, then cool on a wire rack for 10 minutes before enjoying.
